Terms of Service

Effective date: March 14, 2026

// Plain language summary

You own your audio. We store it to power the Service, nothing else. Free and paid plans have different limits. You can cancel anytime. Don't upload content you don't own. Read the full terms below for legal specifics.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Audiomus ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users, including account holders ("Users") and guest reviewers who access projects via share links ("Guests").

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email for material changes. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

Audiomus is a SaaS platform that allows audio professionals to share audio files, collect timestamped feedback from reviewers, and manage revision rounds.

The Service is provided "as is" and is subject to change. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice.

Free plan users are subject to storage limits and project caps outlined on the Pricing page. Paid plan limits are as described at the time of subscription.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Keep your credentials secure. Notify us immediately at support@audiomus.com if you suspect unauthorized account access.

We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on severity.

4. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all audio files, project data, and comments you upload or create on Audiomus ("Your Content").

By uploading content, you grant Audiomus a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and serve Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your invited reviewers.

We do not analyze, train machine learning models on, license, or sell Your Content. Your audio is used only to deliver the Service.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and share any content. Do not upload content you do not own or have rights to.

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Audiomus to upload, share, or distribute content that: infringes intellectual property rights; contains malware or malicious code; constitutes harassment, threats, or illegal material; or violates any applicable law.

You may not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data from the Service beyond normal use.

You may not share your account credentials, resell access, or attempt to circumvent plan limits.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination.

6. Guest Reviewers

Guests access projects via share links provided by account holders. Guests are not required to create accounts.

By submitting comments as a Guest, you agree that the account holder who shared the project may view, use, and retain your feedback.

Guests may only download audio files if the project owner has enabled the download permission for that project. Guests may not copy share links to unauthorized parties or abuse the Service (e.g., comment spam).

Rate limiting applies to Guest comment submissions. Abuse will result in IP-level access restrictions.

7. Payment & Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Polar.sh, our payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal, accessible from the Billing page in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers. Price changes do not apply mid-billing-period.

If a payment fails, we will attempt retry according to Polar.sh's billing schedule. Failure to resolve may result in plan downgrade.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days except where retention is required by law.

We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or for any reason with 30 days' notice (except for immediate termination in cases of serious violations).

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. You should export any data you need before deleting your account.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AUDIOMUS AND ITS OPERATORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Audiomus operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall first be addressed by emailing legal@audiomus.com. We will make good-faith efforts to resolve disputes informally before either party pursues formal proceedings.

If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by applicable law.
